Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
StitchDB is shared infrastructure. These rules keep it safe and fast for everyone.
You may not use StitchDB to
- store or distribute content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, content infringing intellectual property, or personal data processed without a legal basis;
- host phishing pages, malware, or files meant to deceive or harm people;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk e-mail, including through your project's authentication e-mails;
- mine cryptocurrency, run proxies or VPNs for third parties, or use Edge Functions as a general-purpose compute service unrelated to your application;
- attack, scan or probe other systems (including other StitchDB projects), or take part in denial-of-service attacks;
- bypass plan limits, isolation or security controls, create accounts in bulk, or share accounts to avoid limits;
- harass people, or promote violence, terrorism or discrimination.
Security research
Testing the security of your own projects is welcome. Do not test other customers' projects or degrade the service for others. Report vulnerabilities to [email protected]; we will not take action against good-faith research that follows these rules.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on severity we may warn you, limit features (for example disable a function or make a bucket private), suspend the project or account, or end the contract. Where the law requires, we report illegal content. We tell you what happened and how to restore access when we can.
Report abuse
Report abuse of a StitchDB project or URL with the abuse form or at [email protected]. Include the URL and what you observed.
